Accessibility Advisory: The distance from the dock to the Cellhouse is approximately 1/4 mile, and the elevation change is a steep 130 feet. There are several places to rest and take in the views. Bay Discovery Cruise: If the Alcatraz Island tour is sold out on your preferred date, try the Bay Discovery Cruise, a 90-minute sightseeing cruise around several of San Francisco's iconic locations. This tour is available during peak times throughout the summer.

Alcatraz Behind the Scenes Tour
The Ultimate Alcatraz Experience
A special Park Ranger guided tour of Alcatraz with a small group of 20 people or fewer, to areas previously unavailable to the public. Tour also includes the popular Cellhouse Audio Tour. Open a hidden doorway, go through a secret tunnel, visit an underground jail. If you're an Alcatraz Enthusiast, this tour is a must.
Tour is only suitable for ages 12 and up. Children under the age of 12 not allowed.
